This is a pivotal foreshadowing scene where Daly has a nightmare about seeing Annie’s ghost on the road. Need to see a real car traveling on a dark night... Then from the back seat PoV, Daly rolls down the window and flicks his cigarette butt out...just as that happens, cuts to several flashes of Annie (quick fade ins) and Daly wakes up in Scene 4
